The Office of Media Relations is responsible for strategically and proactively raising the profile of Warren Wilson College. It serves as the primary liaison for members of the media, covers newsworthy stories for internal and external audiences and strives to cultivate a press-friendly campus.
Media relations is dedicated to serving the College community members—faculty, staff and students. In addition to assisting with story creation and non-paid external event promotion, the office works to prepare College experts for interactions with the press through on- and off-camera interview training and workshops featuring prominent members of the media. Writing, proofreading, copy editing and video support are also provided.
