There is a multitude of ways you can direct your gift. You can set up a scholarship fund, support a current campaign, orspeak to a member of our officeabout other ways to make a philanthropic impact.   • Where it's needed most: WWC Fund

    The best way to make an immediate impact on Warren Wilson College is togive each year to the WWC Fund– our annual fund that supports each of the college’s operational divisions including Academics, Community Engagement, Work Program, WWC Scholarships, Student Affairs, Admissions, Advancement, Administration & Finance, and General Operations. You can identify specific ways you’d like to direct your gift within the WWC Fund to support what you care about most.

  • Take Your Seat Campaign

  • Center for Integrated Advising and Careers (CIAC)

    WWC is in the process of raising more than $400,000 to get this Center launched. Once fully implemented, it will support our student success work and the increases in retention will fund the work. CIAC willensure every student actively identifies and creates a personalized education plan of classes and experiential learning opportunities that lead to meaningful postgraduate outcomes.

  • John P. Casey Philosopher Scholarship

    Casey’s family and friends have come together to create a scholarship in memory of our beloved Philosophy professor. You can support this fund.

  • Appalachian Leadership Scholarship

    With this scholarship endowment, the Fripp family honors the original mission of Warren Wilson College to provide mountain youth from low-income and/or disadvantaged homes with a high-caliber and rigorous academic and intellectual underpinning that is grounded in the values of hard work and community service.

  • Chamber Music Society of the Carolinas

    Since its founding in1970, The Chamber Music Society of the Carolinas has been the premier chamber music series in North and South Carolina. For those who love to play and those who love to listen, the Chamber Music Society of the Carolinas has been a focal point for the celebration of chamber music for over four decades. In a series of fifteen concerts each summer, CMSC is pleased to be able to share exceptional classical music performances by world class musicians with a wide audience in three different southern cities: Asheville, NC; Waynesville, NC; and Greenville, SC.

  • Swannanoa Gathering Greatest Need Fund

    Founded in1991by Warren Wilson College President Emeritus Douglas M. Orr, Jr., under the leadership of Director Jim Magill, The Swannanoa Gathering is an educational program of the college, consisting of a series of week-long workshops in various folk arts held in July and August on the campus of Warren Wilson College. We offer an intimate, supportive community experience for students of all abilities, featuring a staff of some of the finest performers and teachers in the world.

  • MA in Critical Craft Studies

The small class sizes, hands-on research, and writing requirements in the science department really prepared me for graduate school and my current position as a faculty research assistant at Oregon State University working on berry production and physiology. The work program is invaluable and one of the best parts of WWC.
